Both his parents were talented in the arts.His mother wrote poetry while his father specialized in photography.Angel always favored painting landscapes material out of toothpaste and food condiments,due to lack of artistic supplies in his contry,Serving in the Cuba army Magdariaga met an art intructor who inspired him to create his own style,and introduced him to works of great artists,mostly through books.This Cuban art consider himself a realistic painter whose favorite style is painting landscapes,and who tries to reflect the beauty of nature and the power of its creator in his works.He belives that art to be good must have a "sprit" or "expressioon" that reflects an aspect of creation, since everything that exists has a purpose.
